E-newsletter

I send a periodic newsletter--only 3 to 4 issues a year, so no need to worry about a mailbox full of spam--keeping people up-to-date on what's going on with my work. And to make it worth my subscribers' time and effort, I run contests with prizes specially chosen to make booklovers happy.

Important note: Because my service provider is dedicated to preventing spam, you will receive an e-mail from my address asking you to click on a link to confirm your subscription. If you do not do this, you will not be subscribed to the e-newsletter nor entered in the contest, and the spam police will not let me remind you. (How do the professional spammers manage to send me a hundred messages a day, I want to know?) Sigh.

Back to the good stuff. All my e-newsletter subscribers are automatically entered in any contest I run, for as long as they stay subscribed. There's no rule against repeat winners, so there's no telling what you could win!

New Contest

The prize for my next contest is an old favorite--get a character named after you! I'll be starting work on on the eighth Faye Longchamp mystery soon, and I'll be naming people left and right. Maybe one of those characters will have your name...but be aware that I don't promise that you'll be a nice person, nor that you'll even stay alive. I have "killed" a contest winner in the past. Well, I killed a couple of them, actually. Enter at your own risk...
